1. The service
Mira adds a virtual try-on and an English and Arabic stylist, by text or voice, to your store. Shoppers upload a photo, preview eligible products on themselves and get styling suggestions. Shopify stores manage Mira from the app inside the Shopify admin. Custom storefronts and mobile apps manage it from the Mira app.
2. Your account
If you install Mira from Shopify, your Shopify account is your Mira account. If you use Mira on a custom storefront or mobile app, the Mira team sets up your account. Keep your access secure. You are responsible for activity on your store's Mira account.
3. Plans, trial and billing
- Plans are Starter at $29, Growth at $79 and Scale at $199 a month, in US dollars. Shopify stores choose a plan inside Shopify and are billed by Shopify. Other stores are billed monthly by us.
- New stores get a 14-day free trial with up to 100 successful try-on images in total. If you use them all, new try-ons pause until the trial ends. We do not charge you before the trial ends, and switching plans does not refill the trial.
- One credit is one try-on image delivered to a shopper. Failures and retries are free, and reopening an existing result is free.
- When you use your monthly allowance, new try-ons pause until the next billing period or until you upgrade. Existing results and the cart keep working. There are no automatic overage charges.
- Unused credits do not roll over. There is no setup fee and no commission on your sales.
- Shopify stores cancel by uninstalling Mira, and charges, proration and refunds follow Shopify's billing terms. Other stores cancel by emailing hello@meritt.dev, and we stop billing from the next billing period.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree that:
- You have the rights to the product images and catalogue data you give Mira.
- Your store's privacy policy tells shoppers you use Mira for try-on and styling.
- You use Mira lawfully and, on Shopify, in line with Shopify's terms.
- You do not edit, remove or get around the consent step shoppers see before uploading a photo.
5. Acceptable use
Neither you nor your shoppers may use Mira to:
- Upload photos of another person without their permission, or photos of anyone under 18. Shoppers must be 18 or over to upload a photo.
- Create sexual, violent, hateful or harassing images.
- Impersonate someone or mislead people about who is shown.
- Break the law, infringe others' rights, or get around Mira's safety checks, limits or security.
We may refuse uploads or block use that breaks these rules.
6. Try-on images and stylist replies
Try-on images and stylist replies are generated by AI. They are previews to help a shopper decide, not exact representations, measurements or sizing advice. Colour, fit and drape can differ from the real product. You remain responsible for your product information.
7. Intellectual property
We own Mira, its software and its brand. You keep your catalogue and content, and you give us the permission we need to use them to run Mira for you. You may use try-on results shown in your store to sell your products.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle store and shopper information.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Mira available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, change or remove features. If a change materially reduces what your plan includes, we will tell you first.
10. Suspension and ending
You can stop at any time by uninstalling Mira or, if your store is not on Shopify, by emailing hello@meritt.dev. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, do not pay, or put the service or others at risk. After you stop, your data is handled as the Privacy Policy describes.
11. Liability
Mira is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, sales or data. Our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
You will cover our reasonable costs from claims caused by your content, your store or your breach of these terms.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will show the date at the top. For material changes we give notice through the app or by email. Continuing to use Mira after a change means you accept it.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless the law where you are based requires otherwise.
